Lyceum Model School is located at Sifal, Kathmandu –7, in a tranquil atmosphere. Founded in 2051 B.S, the school is committed to providing education relative to time and has been updating itself in all respects. The school has been making its utmost effort to inject new values and norms into its overall planning. It hosts students from all over the country, in a multicultural and coeducational learning environment, promoting friendship, cooperation and understanding. Hence, the school aims at providing the direction, counsel, and support that each student needs to reach his full potentials.

Message from Principal

As the principal of Lyceum Model School, it’s a pleasure for me to welcome you to a place of collaboration, value added growth and dedication. Founded on principles and values that are the basis of the school, we address the curriculum in a manner that is relevant and developmentally appropriate where learning skills, problem solving, cultivating moral values and critical thinking are of paramount importance. We strive to focus our energies on guiding students to foster their all-round development by maintaining a close eye on their emotional, social and physical needs and are committed to partnering parents in raising the leaders of next generation. Meanwhile, our vision of education extends far beyond the classroom. We encourage our students to participate themselves in the broad co-curricular program. Learning here takes place in many shapes and forms.

We aim to give every student the very best possible education in order to prepare them for life beyond school and spur them on to be the brightest and the best. We are a ‘Learning Community’ which encourages staff, students, ex-students and parents to involve themselves fully in all aspects of school life and to identify themselves with its core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, cooperation and achievement.

I strongly feel that education is a blend of academic excellence and creativity and as the Principal of the school, my motto is to encourage and empower our students to grow as a strong, reflective and humble individuals with discerning minds, prepared to make a mark in all spheres of life. Along with the association of the experienced educators, we will continue our work to maintain the legacy of the school by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We believe that, for the holistic development of a child, involvement of parents is extremely important. I request parents to share their valuable inputs for the growth of the children.

Every teacher at Lyceum understands the concept of multiple intelligences and its significance in child development.
